AWA (Anime Weekened Atlants) is a huge anime convention that takes place in Atlanta on Sep. 19th. Dues to go are $30 for the entry badge, and $25 for gas.
The $30 badge fee is due THIS Thursday at the meeting. Make sure to bring your money or else you won’t be able to go to AWA.
There will be a movie night in Griffis room 407 tonight. It will start at 6 and we will be watching Paprika.
The Anime Club will be holding a gaming night. The theme of which will be fighting games.

Feel free to stop by, and also bring a system, tv, or game with you if you would like to contribute anything.
We will have Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Street Fighter 4, Soul Calibur, and more.
Tonight at 6 in Griffis classroom 407 we will be showing the anime movie Metropolis. Feel free to come join us and relax after a hard day of homework.
The Welcome Party for the semester is today at 6pm in the 4th floor Honors Forum room in Griffis.
We will have pizza and drinks for paid members. We will be watching Excel Saga, Full Metal Panic Fumoffu, Nerima Daikon Brothers, Toradora!, Gintama, and Hetalia.
The SOS Dance Brigade will also be performing the Lucky Star dance.
We’re going to end this semester by holding a Movie Night the last day of classes. Come out and unwind before exams start!

Hey guys, don’t forget about our anime nights this year! We have finally started our second round of series, which include Tenchi Universe and Fate/Stay-Night. They’re both excellent shows so please do stop by and see!
Next week (the 21st), we’ve been moved to McCool 109, so if you want to join us, please go there. After that, we’ll always be in McCool 111, as we have been.

Our AWA trip is fast approaching!
The MSU Anime Club will be attending Anime Weekend Atlanta (AWA) on September 20. Pre-registration badges have been ordered, but those of you who would still like to join us may go and get a badge at the door.
This will be our second year attending AWA, one of the main conventions in the southeast. We currently have a group of nearly 30 people going, so it’s going to be big! Several are cosplaying, including a rather large group as Gurren Lagann characters, so we’ll definitely get some pictures up after the event!
Those of you who have bought badges, please be sure to pay for them and for the gas pool ASAP. 
Don’t forget, tomorrow is our welcome party. We’ll be serving food and drink to paid members, though anyone is welcome to attend the anime viewing and meeting portions of the party.
The McCool lobby will be used to serve our food, followed by the anime viewing in McCool 100, the auditorium. Please drop by and welcome all our members back for the year, as well as to their new meeting location!
Remember, last day to sign up for AWA is also tomorrow, so if you’re wanting to, better let us know! You can still pay later, but the event is fast approaching. Our club-sponsored AWA trip will be on Saturday, September 20.
